What is Creative Bible Journaling? 

 

Creative Bible Journaling is a creative expression of our relationship with God and the Bible. You can use many different techniques to create a journal entry to represent a verse that resonates with you, a word from God or a theme of your choosing. This can be done in a bible journaling bible, an old bible you are happy to use or a separate journal/notebook.

Do I need to be an artist?

 

No, bible journaling is for anyone and everyone. There are many techniques used from scrapbooking to brush lettering that may suit different individuals. Also it is good to remember that bible journaling is for your enjoyment and is not artwork to be scrutinised by others.

What will happen at our Bible Journaling workshop? 

 

Doors will open at 7:20pm for you to arrive, find a seat and grab a drink/snack. To start, we will share what materials are available and show some techniques you can use and allow you to have a little play. We will then read a bible verse or devotional and ask God to speak to us. He may simply highlight a theme, a part of the scripture or show you an image. You will then be able to spend the rest of the workshop creating your journaling entry using our materials.

Our Bible Journaling workshop costs only £8 pp which includes all art materials and refreshments.
